Residents receive professional, around the clock care from a skilled staff of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Professional Nurses, Certified Medication Technicians, Certified Nurse Assistants, and our staff physicians which are on call 24 hours a day.
Intermediate Care- for residents requiring assistance with most or all of their daily activities.
Skilled Care- for residents requiring careful and close monitoring by licensed nurses.
Dementia Care–for residents requiring a safe and supportive environment with sensitivity to their independence and dignity. Alarm bracelets are in place for residents who are at risk of wandering.
Respite Care- for individuals needing short term care to give the primary caregiver a needed break while ensuring the well-being of their loved one.
Hospice Care- for the terminally ill. Christian Care Home gives a circle of support for families, under the careful oversight of physicians, social workers, and case managers. Hospice staff educates families and caregivers while providing dignity and comfort to the resident.
Social Services – Staffed with a full-time Social Worker with a BSW, and a social service designee. The social and emotional health of our residents is of utmost importance. Our social services department will assist the resident and family during the adjustment period. The social services department can also aid those residents returning to their homes by providing information on available community services that help the resident maintain independence.
Rehabilitative Services-involves training the “whole” resident, physically, emotionally and socially. CCH provides a licensed and certified staff that is dedicated to helping residents reach their optimum level of functioning through physical, speech, occupational and restorative therapies.
Residential Care- for seniors who need a little extra help. Residents are generally independent needing some help with dressing, bathing or taking medications but are able to perform daily activities with minimal assistance. The minimum requirement is the residents’ ability to find their own pathway to safety during fire drills. If needed, our Residential Care seniors will be given priority to move within the facility to a higher level of care.
Chapel services- are offered to all residents through our Chaplain along with other religious groups that provide services in our chapel.
Pharmacy services- are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Dialysis services- are available on site by Premier Dialysis.
Optometry, Podiatry and Dental services–are provided on site. Arrangements can be made through Social Services
Laundry and Housekeeping Services- available at no additional cost. Families may choose to do their loved one's laundry. All articles of clothing must be marked with the resident’s name for identification.
Food service- Residents at Christian Care Home enjoy a hearty breakfast, a large meal at midday, and a light evening meal. Entrée substitutions are available, and snacks are always on hand based on the resident’s diet. Different dining options are offered based on the resident’s needs or doctor’s orders; from dining in the main dining room to dining at the dining room in their neighborhood(unit).
Families are encouraged to enjoy meals with their loved ones. We also offer pleasant settings for families to reserve for private parties and gatherings. If you wish to reserve space for a gathering, please contact the Activity Director.
Resident Trust Account- is provided in the Business Office to hold resident’s fund in a place for safe keeping. Banking hours are available for residents to access their account.
Gift Shop- located in the main lobby of Christian Care Home is run by volunteers and is open to visitors and residents alike. Many residents enjoy the experience of shopping in the Gift Shop.
Hair Salon- Resident trust monies may be used for this service.
